usa patriotic sign finished

It's a little Machine Applique Embroidery finish Day at The Quilted Story...using my Sweet Matilda Jane Embroidery Machine...yep...she's a Brother PR655 model and I LOVE her so!

This project was such a quick little make and I just LOVE the powerful statement it makes sitting in my kitchen along with the rest of my Patriotic display!

Nothing says WOW...like a little Red...White and BLUE!

Can I get an Amen?

This design and all the little "pieces parts" are listed in the "Tools of the Trade" at the end of the blog post...so..if you want to make your own...check that out and then go to my You Tube Channel (The Quilted Story) and watch my 2nd Video...as I talk about it there too!

It's NO secret that Kathleen has "limited" bow making skills...but at this point in life...all that matters is I gave it an honest try.  I think that every time I do make a bow to add to one of my finishes...I get a little bit better at it and have a nicer bow in the long run.

Just remember...if you add a little "something something" to the center of your bow...for instance for this project I added that little glittery foam star...you can cover a multitude of sins and craziness happening with it!  LOL!

I call that a win win...how about YOU?

Embroider ON!
