complete set

It seems like this time of the year...

brings out the BABIES and when the Baby Shower invitation arrives in your mailbox...

you simply gotta get motivated!

Let's face it...

People know I embroider and applique...

it's NO secret...

and when a new Baby arrives in our circle of friends...a Super Cute gift is in order!

I simply wouldn't have it any other way!

As I thumbed through my many adorable design files...

I stumbled across the ever classic Whale in Circle Frame...and

WOW...

the possibilities with this sweet design are simply ENDLESS!

I knew...without a doubt, this was the perfect design for the new little guy!

So...Let's get started...

Since I decided to put the appliqued design onto a 12 month bodysuit ( I chose the 5x7 inch size)...

I went ahead and prepped my 7x7 Fast Frame with sticky stabilizer

and found the center of my design on the garment.

I also fused a pieced of No Show Mesh to the backside of the garment...where the design will be.

***TIP...I like to use the rule of thumb of .75” to 1” from the neckline

to the TOP of the design for my baby and children's garment...

since I like the placement of the design to be on the chest area and not in the middle of the tummy.

Just my personal preference...but mark your center wherever suits your FANCY!

I loaded the frame onto my machine with the bodysuit UPSIDE down...

and the design is also upside down on my screen too!

Here she goes...

As you can see...I went ahead and securely fasten my bodysuit with my red clippies...

and I may or may NOT have used the WHOLE box!

OK...

I used the whole box!

Just because I could and the Red Clippie Police did NOT knock down my door!

LOL!

I use these red clippies as an extra precaution, while stitching designs with my Fast Frames.

I simply do NOT want anything to shift or move while the stitching is taking place.

Call me a control freak...

Embrace your weaknesses...that's my motto!

I went ahead and added the smaller 4x4 design size to this adorable in the hoop bib design too...

Isn't it so adorable...in all it's Super Soft Flannel Cuteness?

Now...

I simply could not stop at just the bodysuit...

so I got a little creative and removed the circle applique part...

and put it on this matching flannel burp cloth...

 PLUS...

a baby set is not complete without a Sweet Little Beanie too...

Can I get an AMEN?

AND...

I couldn't resist stitching it onto this really cute diaper bag to help complete the set too...

YES...I like to spoil my friends littles...
