Halleluiah! My Patriotic Fund Raiser Quilt top is FINISHED! Since I have this Beauty ready to be quilted I guess I should go ahead and name it...hmmm...
When my son...Mr. Computer Engineer was here to visit he suggested "FIREWORKS" and I thought...yeah, that's Perfect! He can have a couple good ideas, every once in a while! He is the one who inspired me to make my Quilt called LIVING IN CANDYLAND...go ahead and read about her HERE and HERE!
I simply LOVE LOVE LOVE this Quilt...with all her RED WHITE and BLUE Glory! She is an 8 X 10 block set, making 80 blocks and a total of 1056 pieces in the quilt top! She is stunning, to say the least.
I am dropping her off next week to Ms. Fannie...the quilter with "the long arm", as my sister Michelle so eloquently puts it. She has done a lot of my quilts and I can't wait to see what she does with this one! It is a Special Quilt...so it needs a Special Touch!
Well...I am off to piece the backing and get it all pressed pretty...
