Ok, so I'm a little behind in posting about one of my proudest moments!  A very good friend of my mine and fellow quilter was recently diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer, and since this particular friend is a Buckeye Girl I simply had to do something extra special...something more than a "little" over the top!  What's a quilter to do when she has more fabric than any normal human being would consider "appropriate"?  Make a QUILT of course...but not just "any" quilt...one that had teal fabrics from the Blank Textiles Ovarian Cancer line.  Isn't it just gorgeous?

I knew when I seen this fabric line a couple years back I just had to get some for my stash so I could make a special quilt for a special friend...I call her Buckeye Barb.   I named this beautiful quilt "A Teal Ribbon of Hope", simply because that is what it is...I know this quilt will bring her lots of comfort knowing that even on a rough day of treatments a simple glance of it will remind her that she is wrapped in love.

Keep your chin up Buckeye Girl...we all know you can beat this!
