It is hard for me to believe that it is already October and that means THINK PINK MONTH for Breast Cancer Awareness and Research!  Whenever I am shopping at a Quilt Store and see Breast Cancer Awareness lines of fabric I have to indulge and get a yard or two or 20.  Sometimes I have a hard time deciding just "how much" to actually purchase because it is always so beautiful and there are usually more than one line of fabrics from different manufacturers to choose from.  Such the dilemma!

The pocketbook in this photo is actually a bag I designed for someone I knew who was undergoing Breast Cancer treatments...she is a quilter too, so I needed to come up with something that she wouldn't have done for herself.  I made this bag extra big so she could carry all of her essentials to her treatments. I also made a little cover for a small pack of tissues to go in her bag too, so it would match.  She just loved it!  Another simple Random Act of Kindness!
